A trainee who has completed all of their coursework and graduated from their program.

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor-Associate dedicated to guiding teens, young adults, and adults on their journey toward healing and self-discovery. My holistic, individualized approach helps you understand the underlying issues behind your thoughts and behaviors, reconnect with your authentic self, and restore hope for a brighter future. I specialize in:

Overcoming Eating Disorders: I have extensive experience working with eating disorders from my years working at Monte Nido & Affiliates, a residential facility for eating disorder treatment. My goal is to help you to restore your relationship with food and your body so you can enjoy life again. I offer tailored interventions to address a range of eating disorders including anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge-eating disorders, avoidant restrictive food intake disorder, body dysmorphia, orthorexia, and over-exercising.

Healing from Trauma & Promoting Resilience: Drawing on my work at The Meadows IOP and in various clinical settings, I provide a safe, supportive space to process traumatic experiences and build strategies that foster emotional resilience and recovery. I am trained in several evidence-based treatments for PTSD including Cognitive-Processing Therapy (CPT) which helps individuals reconcile their traumatic experiences with their beliefs.

Addressing Substance Use & Behavioral Addictions: My clinical experience in intensive treatment settings such as the Meadows intensive outpatient program has equipped me with evidence-based techniques such as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to help clients navigate challenges related to substance use and behavioral addictions, fostering healthier coping strategies.

Navigating Life Transitions: From my early work as a school counseling intern at Strake Jesuit College Preparatory to my ongoing clinical practice, I provide practical tools and personalized care to support you through significant life changes. Utilizing cognitive-behavioral and mindfulness-based strategies honed through diverse therapeutic experiences, I empower clients to manage anxiety and depression, reclaiming control over their lives and enhancing overall well-being.

Areas of Focus

• Trauma & PTSD • Anxiety Disorders • Depression • OCD • Difficulty sleeping

I provide therapy for adults with PTSD, anxiety, and depression. I have over 15 years of experience treating trauma, including working with survivors of combat, accidents, crime, sexual assault, and childhood abuse.

Experiencing a trauma can upend your life—it can change how you think about yourself, other people, and the world. I work with clients to identify how trauma has impacted them and help them identify ways to heal. Although we can’t go back in time and stop the trauma from happening to you, we can, together, find healthier ways to move forward.

My goal is to provide a supportive, safe place to work on trauma at your own pace. I also treat anxiety, including social anxiety, generalized anxiety, panic disorder, and OCD, as well as depression and related issues such as trouble sleeping. I use evidence-based therapy approaches, such as cognitive-behavioral therapies. For me, the purpose of therapy is to give you tools to use in your everyday life, so that you can cope with life’s challenges as they arise.

It’s very important to me that clients feel supported and are partners in making decisions about their treatment. This includes choosing which evidence-based treatment approach makes sense for you, helping tailor treatment to your goals and values, and determining when you are ready to graduate from treatment. I want to make sure you are getting what you want from therapy. When you start therapy, we will meet weekly. As you progress, we will gradually extend the intervals between sessions.

As a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, my areas of focus include:

***Trauma and PTSD Anxiety OCD Depression Insomnia***

If you are considering thinking about starting therapy, I am happy to offer a free 15-minute consultation to see if we are a good fit. I’d love to help you or someone you love get the support you need to live better.
